Here's a little story of my life in a poem.

a great family who lead by example.

words were sweet and careful.

i was loved because that's what we do.

you showed me right from wrong

years go by i had friends not a great set of friends

i looked at the world of who i should be and who i could be 

but it wasn't enough 

words could make or break me.

 empty and not content

 hated life 

thought of causing a car accident

i went to church every sunday

read the bible and sunday school.

but i wasn't really living.

life goes on 

nobody would care

just a nobody in a a world.

because i didn't matter

one day i found life 

for the first time

i found someone who loved me

for flaws and everything i have ever did.

someone reached out their hand and in my weakness.

he was strong.

he told me I was loved.

he died for me.

His name is Jesus 

and he lives inside of me.

he showed me his love is how high and how deep 

and that no matter what I ever do he's always gonna love me.

today, let me tell 

He LOVES YOU.

i love you for who you are and not what you have done.

you see, we aren't perfect people.

and we never will be..

but HE IS.

I came to tell you today that you are loved.

you are beautiful inside and out.

the world tells us that we have to measure up

you can call me a crazy christian girl

that's okay.. 

because I am just gonna be me.
